The event was held on a beautiful, but blustery 1st day of May. Coast Guard trainees were posted at the intersections along the route. Joe Link of Town Bank was the big winner in the 5 mile bay run with a time of 29:59. Joe is a common sight along the Bay as he does his daily 10 mile training run. In the first picture at the top left below we see the banner on the Lower Township building advertising the event. The next picture to the right shows the last group of walkers on Bay Drive. At top right, the lead car comes down Bay Drive followed by the lead runners. At bottom left, Joe Link nears the 2 mile mark, in the lead for good.
